  5. Har Voong Pang : He emails from Perth : I've just finished a week of Appropriate Technology at the farm. We learn how to build toilets, cooking stove (with mud), building and using some equipment for contour / terrace; build a concrete water tank and have fun. There are scratches on my hands now. A few splinters went in too. Ouch, it was painful. Have a good week except for the weather at night is very cold. First time in my life that I experienced such intense cold. Too cold to sleep. We have been doing car washing in the school as a fund-raising project for finances to our outreach to Cambodia on September 26th. Shall be in Malaysia for about two days on my way there. Please update me with your latest. I'm waiting to hear from you guys at voongpang@bigpond.com.

Brian and Amy Keller write of the Hewa people who have even moved their village to a location where an airstrip could be built, in anticipation of someone coming to teach them in their own language. An aerial survey was done June 9, and a ground survey is being scheduled for later this month. Pray for wisdom as decisions are made. The team likely to go into this area would be the Kellers, Keith and Angie Copley and Scott and Michelle Barrett. Pray for each of these couples as they prepare to make this move - all new missionaries to the field- exciting and busy days ahead for all concerned as they begin this new work. Check http://www.ntm.org for daily prayer updates.
  12. Events: OA Mission Visit : Have fellowship with them – witness their baptism service in a river, have a picnic, etc on this mission awareness trip on Sat Oct 16 from 7.30 am to about 6.30 pm. Just arrange your own transport & food and Ampang Gospel Centre will be your host during this trip to Tapah.
