  4. Wangsa Maju English Class - Pray also for Peter Diong who is teaching the Standard 6 girls who are Ling Hui Juin, Ngew Mei Hui, Leong Li Hui and Loh Wei Yee & also for new teachers.
  5. Wangsa Maju Youth Fellowship - The fellowship started with 18 youths recently. Pray for the teachers who are leading the group and that the programme will be suitable for them.

B. OTHERS

  1. Marie Low: Pray for her to (i) continue to trust in God, (ii) deepen her faith to overcome all obstacles, (iii) allow God to work His way in her life and (iv) also for her non-Christian brother Chow Kok Wan to know Christ. She is advised by her doctor to stop work in order to let her health improve. Pray for God's leading in this area since she contemplates to stop very soon and looks at the possibility of working at home.
  2. Chong Mei Lin: Pray for her as she is involved in the 3-months discipleship course at the YWAM School of Biblical Studies since the third week of September in Penang. Pray for good health as she has to study late.
  3. Leong Kai Keong & Mun Moi : Continue to pray that they will be able to settle down with the new maid helping in the house.
  4. Yip Siao Lyn: She is now in Ipoh serving for 3 months at YWAM Discipleship Training School since Sept 98. Pray that she will have discernment and ability to applied what she had studied earlier at YWAM Australia.
  5. Gloria Liew: Give thanks she has adjusted well at her banking branch in Desa Pandan
  6. Aaron Sam: Pray for God's sustenance for him as he is now working in the hospital (for his medical course in Scotland) with barely eight hours of sleep.
  7. Madam Sivaratnam's brother: Pray for a quick recovery from his open heart surgery.
  8. Bukit Beruntung, Rawang: Worship commenced once a month. Tracting every alternate Saturday or Sunday at 4-6 pm – pray for protection & good weather. Remember Michael Lim & Christopher Leong.
  9. Non-Christians: Spouses of our sisters: Chan Chee Keong (Margaret), Mr Chin (Catherine), Chong Heng (Anne), Dick Yap (Mary Yap), Choong Pew Meng (Mary Choong), Mr Chee (Elsie). Parents: Mr & Mrs Ee (Yew Chuan parents), Mrs Chow (Desmond mother), Mr & Mrs Leong Poh Sun (Erwin parents), Mrs & Mrs Wong (Harry parents), Mrs Loh (Lee Sar mother). Relatives: Mr & Mrs Ong Lye Hin (Ching Kut’s bro & sis in law), Mr & Mrs Peter Chin, Mr & Mrs Yap Ying Choy, Mr & Mrs Yap Kam Wah (Kam Hong & Jen Peng bros & sis in laws). Pray for James mother to have a forgiving heart for her husband.
  10. MGC Young People: Pray for them as they prepare a play for Christmas and their camp in Fraser's Hill during end November.
  11. Examination candidates: SPM: Pray for Kit Hon, Kel Lee & Trisha until the the first week of November.
  12. Steven Loh & Family: Pray for him as he starts the Sunday morning prayer at Grace Chapel, Kota Kinabalu. Pray that the congregation will be touched by the Lord to join the group which first started with 9 people (his 7 + Telly & Mee Har). Pray for him as he feels the Lord is directing him for church planting.
  13. Har Voong Pang: Pray for his mission trip to Chiangmai & Bangkok in Thailand from Oct 27th to Dec 2nd. Kindly pray for safety & health, spiritual breakthroughs as Thailand has strong Buddhist influence & immorality, and open doors to serve HIV+ children, orphans, tribal people, slum areas and university students. Pray for a deeper relationship with God and also with team members while serving Him in a cross-cultural setting.
  14. Missionary: Pray for Christine Pang who will be leaving for Macau soon for her ministry there among the Cantonese speaking people and also for her boarding as it is estimated to cost RM1,500 to rent a place to stay due to the high cost of living.
  15. Commonwealth Games Brethren Mission - CGBM ’98:
  16. A total of about 50,000 booklets were distributed and hundreds heard the gospel message of our Lord Jesus Christ during 11 to 13 Sep 98. Initial count indicated 8 persons during the tracting & 10 during the musical drama accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour and 100 had responded positively. There are also 750 enquiries on the Emmaus bible course too.

  17. Christmas Presentation: Pray for the proper avenues (time, date, place, sort of function whether dinner, high tea, etc) for us to bring across the gospel message for Christmas.
