Special Prayers for medical patients

  1. Marie Low: Pray that she will enjoy good health as she is undergoing the treatment for her blood disorder. Her condition has improved with the time period between the required blood transfusions lengthened.
  2. Lilian Anthony Boswell, 50: (Mrs Soo’s sister) Mrs Soo of MGC, who went in late January 2001 to London for a course, met up with her sister there. She found out that her sister is suffering from Lymphoma - cancer of the lymphatic system. She is married and has 1 son & 1 daughter. She is a Christian and physically active. However, at certain times, her limbs would turn weak and she can hardly hold up a piece of paper. The doctor gave her a span of two years to live. Apparently, she has accepted the situation well. Please pray for healing for her and that God will be gracious to her and to the family.
  3. Seok Wei, 22 (Chem YM’s niece) : She has been diagnosed with cancer of the ovary. She has just undergone her second chemotherapy in UH and is very weak at the moment. She is a new graduate and started working recently. She is a Christian and is attending Glad Tiding Church in PJ.
  4. June Chai, 40+ (Chem’s sis-in-law) She was discharged recently after being admitted to the Ampang Puteri hospital for observation. She is suffering from some mental depression and the doctor could not find anything medically wrong with her. She is a Catholic. Please pray that God will remove whatever that is bothering her. Her two sons are attending the English class in WMGC.
  5. Lim Kong Hua, 40 (KK Leong’s ex-colleague): This Christian brother suffers from bone & colon cancer after successful chemo treatment against lung cancer. His condition is adverse and classified as terminally ill.

  1. OA Ministry: Pray for Vela, Robert Chew & Hor Suet Fun serving in the OA work during alternate weekends. Their prayer needs are that (a) 5 OA residents will be lead to Christ, (b) working of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the OA believers, (c) volunteers will serve wholeheartedly and (d) more MGC volunteers will help out in the tuition and Sunday School classes (present attendance: 20 to 25 children).

He writes "Meanwhile you may like to rejoice with us over a miraculous healing of Mr Simon Wong, a member of Grace Chapel (in KK) who was involved in a very serious motor accident at Keningau-Tambunan Road on 27th November 2000. After much prayer and God's intervention he was discharged from the ICU where he was warded for three weeks and is now on a 2 months recuperation / medical leave. I actually had got ready his will, just in case, as he has 3 young kids and lot of debts in hand to settle and only 42. Thank God for his mercy on him & the family."
