Pray for (1) the producers, director, props team, cast and helpers; (2) them that they will not find the schedule too tight as they practice & get ready for the drama and (3) cooperation between the youth of the two churches and a close fellowship will result from the togetherness formed during the production.

Special Prayers for medical patients

  1. Marie Low: Pray that she will enjoy good health as her condition has improved with the time period between the required blood transfusions lengthened from 3-4 to 7 weeks. She adds that the transfusion is for blood and not platelets since her platelet count has stabilised albeit at a very low reading of 4 to 6 instead of the normal 150. She is in need of the "Graseby" infusion pump which can de-load her excess iron in the blood. Her next trip to China is either in the second or third week of May.
  2. Lilian Anthony Boswell, 50: (Mrs Soo’s sister) Her sister is suffering from Lymphoma - cancer of the lymphatic system. She is married and has 1 son & 1 daughter. She is a Christian and physically active. The doctor gave her a span of two years to live. Apparently, she has accepted the situation well. Please pray for healing for her and that God will be gracious to her and to the family.
  3. Seok Wei, 22 (Chem YM’s niece) : Thank God she is well and has just undergone her fourth chemotherapy in UH for cancer of the ovary and scheduled to be back to work in May.
  1. OA Ministry: Pray for Vela, Robert Chew & Hor Suet Fun serving in the OA work during alternate weekends. Their prayer needs are that (a) 5 OA residents will be lead to Christ, (b) working of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the OA believers, (c) volunteers will serve wholeheartedly and (d) more MGC volunteers will help out in the tuition and Sunday School classes (present attendance: 20 to 25 children).
  2. Sunday School: Praise God for the seven children who made the decision to accept Jesus as their Savior during the Sunday School Easter Celebration. They are Joyce, Rachel, Elyse, Harven, Felicia, Ching Sin and Roshsyen. Pray for growth in their faith. Please continue to pray for the teachers that they be strengthened and encouraged.

  4. Dan Fong Shin Thank God for my sabbatical which has been refreshing. It has also been good to be around in church, fellowshipping with MGC members and being involved in church events.
