1.       Half Day of Prayer & Fasting 1 May 2002 – thanksgiving that the event was successfully run and many noted the importance of corporate intercession. Many also benefited personally through their sharing in the group prayer.

2.       WMGC TAR College Ministry – Pray that the outreach done through a rented house in Tmn Bunga Raya will achieve the goals of (a) reaching to students and helping them grow in the Lord and (b) encouraging them to take part in the church’s ministries. Remember Meng Tah as the anchor tenant and Kelvin Chong in charge of outreach.

3.       WMGC YP Camp Tues 28 & Wed 29 May – Pray for many young people will join the camp on “Character First” which teaches them to be attentive, obedient & grateful. Pray that they can have fun too during their lessons.

4.       Yip Kam Hong and Jen Peng attending YWAM course in Auckland, NZ for 6 months from July 2002 to Jan 2003; pray for God's future direction after the course. Pray for substitute teachers to replace them in WMGC.

5.       MGC YP Ministry: Pray for YP members studying overseas / outstation who are Kelvin Chan (UK), Aida Sam (Aust), Stacia Leong & Loh Yi Chuin (Aust), John Yeoh (US), Audrey Sam (NZ), Siaw May & Cheah Wen Eu (S’pore). Remember Valery (Vela’s eldest daughter) who has 2nd year final exams starting 20 April 2002. Commit the YP committee to have greater unity and coordination, wisdom & insight. Pray for their planning and programmes will incorporate spiritual elements and be according to God’s will.

6.       MGC Music & Drama Ministry – Pray for teamwork among the committee i.e Andrew, Kai Keong, Jason, Lee Peng & Jian Tsin. Give thanks for the well attended piano workshop held recently & also in June, Sept & Nov. Remember the team as they prepare presentations for the baptism and other outreach programmes.

7.       Har VP : My travels: 09 Apr - Leave Perth to Narita, Tokyo, Japan. 05 May - Leave Tokyo to Hong Kong and into China after a few days. 26 May - Leave Hong Kong to Perth. Shall be going leaving for Busselton on the same day. 23 Jun - Leave Busselton to Perth ... to the  uttermost part of the world ... Few days ago, I felt God speaking to me through Luke 19:41-43. I need to perceive things through my spirit as Christ did. Please pray that I may perceive the spiritual needs of the people and that would affect my soul and may respond appropriately.

Festival of Celebration 2 to 4 August 2002. Pray for the event, speaker Bill Newman and our members involved in the organisation. Remember the non-Christians who will be invited for the 3 nights event inclusive of the Youth Night.

PAYA BULUH MINISTRY  –  a.  pray for Lee Kong Yee, Mee Cheng, Suet Fun, Robert, Vela & Kavi.

b.       Pray for Christians Salim & Jalinah to take up leadership roles and for Kamal & Rahimah, Rosli & Salmi, Dohok & Zaitun, Teh & Rohana, Ketot & Sanisah and Karim & Edah. Remember the non-Christians Kamal & Normala, Ah Pek, Ana & Kamaria. Remember their OA Camp in June 2002 in Cameron Highlands.

SOCIAL CONCERN – General Hospital Ministry

Those who received Christ are (1) Nathan (paralysed) that he will read & understand the Bible and be able to walk again, (2) Mr Ramesh (paralysed) that his family will be saved and be able to walk again, (3) Mr Pottu (diabetic) and (4) Mr Loke Yuan @ Loke Weng (cancer) from Air Panas in Setapak, KL. Remember (5) Mr Khrisnan (diabetic) that his leg wounds would heal, rest of family to be saved and his need for financial assistance.

For other patients in the general ward – (6) Mr Wong Koon Wah 60 (from JB with a crippled backbone) now in physiotherapy ward and can sit upright and move his legs, (7) Mr Anapalan 70+ diabetic & recovering from his leg swelling & now can walk (8) Mr Chuan Kok Cheng 40+ a fisherman from Alor Setar (accident - spinal injury), (9) Mdm Kunavathi 40 from Seremban after spinal surgery (10) Mdm Kamalan 50+ slipped and injured spine
(11) Wong Ling Hee (fisherman from Pantai Remis).
