    1. WMGC English Class - Pray for the children in the English Class and the youth fellowship meeting every Saturday.
    2. Friday Bible Class : Pray for Calvin Tan as he takes on 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month to expound on Romans.

OTHERS

  1. Marie Low: Pray that she will enjoy good health as this will help her recover from her blood disorder. Marie has opted for the China visit where her medical professor will treat her. Do pray for her as she is contemplating to stay in Hong Kong for her Shenzhen medical visits. She underwent blood transfusion in end Sept 2000.
  2. William Leong : Pray for his continual recovery as he undergoes treatment for cancer at Gleneagles Hospital, KL. The side effects of the chemotherapy (sore throat, ulcers, dryness, etc) are affecting him. Please pray for him for good rest and health as his sleep & appetite are affected.
  3. Cheah Chee San: Pray for him as a new child of God and as he continues the cancer treatment at the Mt Elizabeth hospital in Singapore. He is at home on leave and has joined us for our worship service. Thank God that father and son, Wen Eu were baptised together recently on Sunday 17/9/2000.
  4. Voong Pang: Pray for him as he serves in the YWAM Sydney 2000 Olympics outreach. His team is assigned to Lakemba, an international Muslim community which is very tough. His team did their ministry there and some Olympic sites. His prayer requests are (a) divine appointments to meet and talk to people for evangelism or building friendships and (b) personally, he received many rejections and negativity from the many people he’d talked to. It is affecting him and his energy level for evangelism. The outreach will end after Friday. Finally, he saids "a big thank you for all your financial support, prayers and fellowship."
  5. Dan Fong Shin: Pray that the Lord will lead her to do what is needed – be it to challenge, to encourage or to rebuke. Remember her in prayer for her assignments away from KL.
  6. Oct 12-15: UM CF Camp in Port Dickson – pray for fellowship among the 1st years and the senior students. Pray also that God can use her to minister to the students there.

    Oct 16-18: USM Tronoh Retreat for committee members. Pray for wisdom in planning and that they may listen for God’s guidance in areas that they need to concentrate on this coming semester.

    Oct 20-21: Staff 2-day training in evangelism.

    Oct 27-28: Univ Teknologi Petronas for last visit to the campus. Pray for a smooth transition between her and another staff member for the work there.

  7. Non-Christians: Spouses of our sisters: Chan Chee Keong (Margaret), Chong Heng (Anne), Choong Pew Meng (Mary Choong), Mr Chee (Elsie), Col Goh (Connie), Alex (Yvonne).   8.   9. MGC Young People: Pray for those who can't make it to YP Sat Meeting - Pang Kean, Danny, Wy Leong, Meng Hui & Michelle. Pray for YP members studying overseas / outstation who are Audrey Sam (New Zealand), Irwin Leong & Loh Yi Chuin (Aust), John Yeoh (NY, US), Leong Kit Hon (Skudai) and Siaw May (Singapore). Also remember Aaron Sam as he works as an intern in Dundee for his training.
  10. Care Groups: Pray that the cell group members will learn to strengthen, serve, love & care for one another. There are six care groups (Love, Faith, Hope, Patience, Peace & Joy) for the year 2000.
  11. OA Ministry: Pray that some of our members serving in the OA Sunday Schools. Pray also for Vela who is spearheading the work there.
