3. Wangsa Maju English Class - Pray also for Peter Diong who is teaching the Standard 6 girls who are very keen. They are Ling Hui Juin, Ngew Mei Hui, Leong Li Hui and Loh Wei Yee. Now, please assist in praying for new teachers; or be one to answer the call.

4. Pray for those non-christians who attended the evangelistic meeting on Saturday evening of 12 Sept 98 that the seed of the gospel planted will grow.

B. OTHERS

Marie Low: Pray for her continual recovery as she has recovers from a-plastic anaemia. She thanks us for our prayers and asks us to pray for her to (i) continue to trust in God, (ii) deepen her faith to overcome all obstacles, & (iii) allow God to work His way in her life. She wants us also to pray that (a) her health will improve to let her attend worship services and (b) her non-Christian brother Chow Kok Wan to know Christ. LATEST: she needs to be hospitalised again due to low blood cell count. Pray that she will be able to recover quickly.

Chong Mei Lin: Pray for her as she is involved in the CGBM 98 campaign.

Leong Kai Keong & Mun Moi : Give thanks for a safe delivery & arrival of a baby daughter, Jene Leong.

Yip Siao Lyn: She requests for prayers for God's direction for her; pray that she will obey God's will and direction in considering the options open to her future.

Har Voong Pang: Pray for him as he is attending a 5-months intensive Christian training course called the Crossroads Discipleship Training School (CDTS) offered by Youth With A Mission.

Commonwealth Games Brethren Mission - CGBM ’98:

Thank God for a safe & spectacular opening of the Games on 11/9/98.

Pray for the 110 youth leaders from the English speaking assemblies (14 in the Klang Valley & 10 outside) to lead the teams to do evangelism during the Games. Pray also for the trainers Christopher Leong, Dexter Ng, Lai Tak Ming, Ooi Chin Aik, Simon Lai, Lee Min Choon, Andrew Cowell and William Doraisamy.

The teams of 5 (with 1 youth leader) comprise of 500 youths who will do street evangelism and distribute the "More than Gold" booklets to people around the Games venues during the 1^st weekend of the Games. The Mission encourages every Christian (i.e. YOU) to purchase 30 "More than Gold" booklets to give out to their unchurched friends. There is a Christian message also incorporated in the booklet for evangelism.

8. Inter-Brethen Assembly (IBA) Team leaders - Pray for our Young People & adults ie. Kok Leong, Audrey Sam, Voong Pang, Paul, Lee Peng, Chee Yen, Chaw Yen & Patricia. Pray also for (a) divine protection & strength for all involved in the "More than Gold" distribution in the street evangelism and (b) good logistics & coordination for the IBA leaders looking after 500 youth.

9. Pray that the musical drama "More than Gold" by the IBA youth. There will be two shows - 18 & 19 Sept 98 both at 8.00 pm in Life Chapel, PJ. Pray that the non christians will also decide on their own destiny when the drama unfolds on the choice of a gymnist on a gold or the love of a man who brought her to life.

10. Bukit Beruntung, Rawang: Worship commenced once a month. Tracting every alternate Saturday or Sunday at 4-6 pm – pray for protection & good weather. Remember Michael Lim & Christopher Leong.
