WMGC English Class - Pray for the children in the English Class and the youth fellowship meeting every Saturday. They have an exciting new program layout with interaction, etc.

ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING 2001

Date : Sun 28/1/2001 Pray that members will be receptive and pro-active in the tabling of the programme for the churh and its activities for the new year 2001. There will be new ministries like the Music ‘n Drama Group.

Our Main Theme for 2001 : That Ye Should Show Forth the Praises of God

Marie Low: Pray that she will enjoy good health as this will help her recover from her blood disorder. Marie has opted for the China visit where her medical professor will treat her. Her condition has improved with the time period between the required blood transfusions lengthened.

Carol Cheah & Family: Pray for Carol, Wen Eu & Lyn Ee as they continue to trust God for guidance & providence.

Voong Pang: Pray for him as he is in Perth. His laptop computer broke down and may not have internet access.

Chong Mei Lin: Pray for her as she is involved with the YP and also preparing for the RBS camp on 29 Jan.

Dan Fong Shin: Pray that the Lord will lead her to do what is needed – be it to challenge, to encourage or to rebuke.

Dan Lee Peng: Pray for her as she has started serving in IBA for the creative arts section.

YP Ministry: Pray for YP members studying overseas / outstation who are Irwin Leong & Loh Yi Chuin (Aust), John Yeoh (NY, US), Leong Kit Hon (Skudai) and Siaw May (Singapore).

Care Groups: Pray that the cell group members will learn to strengthen, serve, love & care for one another. There are six care groups (Love, Faith, Hope, Patience, Peace & Joy) for the year 2001.

OA Ministry: Pray that some of our members serving in the OA Sunday Schools. Pray also for Vela who is spearheading the work there and Lee Kong Yee for opportunities with the residents there.

PRAYER REMINDER

It's clear from the Bible that prayer must be a priority in every Christian's life. The following will help you to understand its importance and the role of prayer in the lives of Jesus and other Biblical characters who were close to God.

What to Pray for -- A Biblical Perspective

Those who oppose you, who persecute you. Matthew 5:44, Luke 6:27-28 / For relief from heavy burdens which face you, if consistent with God's will. Matthew 26:39 / For the timing of key events. Mark 13:18 / That you may not fall into temptation. Luke 22:40, 22:46 / For boldness in dealing with ungodly people. Acts 4:29, Ephesians 6:19-20 / For those in need of salvation. Ephesians 1:18 / For the entire church. Ephesians 6:18 (note that saints=disciples=Christians: Romans 1:7, 8:27, 16:15, 1 Corinthians 6:2, 14:33, 2 Corinthians 1:1, Ephesians 1:1, Philippians 1:1, 4:22, Colossians 1:26, Revelation 18:20 / For other Christians.
