1. CHURCH

Sunday Worship Meeting; Our theme for this month is God is holy.

Ministries & Duties for MGC & WMGC :

1. WMGC English Class - Pray for (a) the children in the English Class and the youth fellowship meeting every Saturday. Pray that the Easter hunt (special programme for youth) on 29/4 and (b) tracting on 9^th April targetted at Wangsa Maju Section 2.

2. MGC / WMGC Friday Bible Class : Pray for Calvin Tan as he takes on 1^st & 3^rd Fridays of the month to expound on the book of Romans.

3. Easter Sketch : Pray for the team namely Gue Kok Leong, Teoh May May, Hor Jian Tsin, Shanmugam (main actors/actress), other supporting acting group & Jonathan Yap, Jason, Lee Peng, Sharas (directing group), Andrew Chum (technical) & Julian Yap (props).
4. Old Folks Home Visit: Pray for the members & residents of the home during our visit on Sunday 2 April 2000.
5. Special Mini Series : Topic – Focus in "the family & parenting" on 15 JUNE 2000 (10.00 am to 4 pm) in MGC. Speaker is Mr Lee Wei Min. Cost: RM 5/person. Open to non-Christians also.

B. OTHERS

1. Marie Low: Pray that she will enjoy good health as this will help her recover from her blood disorder. Pray also for her mother who has failed kidneys and require dialysis often. Marie has opted for the China stay where her medical professor will treat her for a one-year period.
2. Dan Fong Shin: Pray that the Lord will lead her to do what is needed – be it to challenge, to encourage or to rebuke.
3. Khrisnan: Pray for the salvation of Vela’s brother (past 40 years old) who is recovering from his liver problem.
4. Mr Chin : Give thanks that he is responding to the treatment for rheumatoid arthritis and continue to pray for his spiritual well being.
5. Kelvin Chong : Pray for him (a) as he settles down to worship in WMGC and (b) give thanks he has secured a job.
6. Voong Pang : Pray for him as he seeks new direction from God.
7. Non-Christians: Spouses of our sisters: Chan Chee Keong (Margaret), Chong Heng (Anne), Choong Pew Meng (Mary Choong), Mr Chee (Elsie), Mr Cheah (Carol), Col Goh (Connie), Alex (Yvonne). Parents: Mr & Mrs Ee (Yew Chuan parents), Mrs Chow (Desmond mother), Mr & Mrs Leong Poh Sun (Erwin parents), Mrs & Mrs Wong (Harry parents). Relatives: Mr & Mrs Ong Lye Hin (Ching Kut’s bro & sis in law), Mr & Mrs Peter Chin, Mr & Mrs Yap Ying Choy, Mr & Mrs Yap Kam Wah (Kam Hong & Jen Peng bros & sis in laws). Mr Cheah Chee San (Carol's husband) accepted Christ on Thursday 13/4/2000 - hallelujah; praise the Lord. Thank you for your prayers.
8. Non-Christians : Mr Leong Soon Ha in Teluk Intan (Chee Yein’s father), Mr & Mrs Chan Kok Kuen, Bernard Koay, Rosline Loh, Dennis Lee, Chuan Teng Min, Peggy Teoh, Lynette Loo’s parents, Raymond & Josephine Lim, Ng Chor Fatt, Elisha Thomas, Seng Shat Lit, Cheong Pui Fun, Jaime Au, Francis, Vincent, Mr & Mrs Mah, Mrs Pang, Mr & Mrs Liew Wai Tong.
9. MGC Young People: Pray for those who can't make it to YP Sat Meeting - Pang Kean, Danny, Wy Leong, Meng Hui & Michelle. Pray for YP members studying overseas / outstation who are Aaron Sam (Scotland), Audrey Sam (now home on holiday), Lim Hui Ling & Irwin Leong (Aust), John Yeoh (NY, US), Leong Kit Hon (Skudai), Chong Chee Seong & Lim Jong Chiueh (England).
10. Care Groups: Pray that the cell group members will learn to strengthen, serve, love & care for one another. There are six care groups (Love, Faith, Hope, Patience, Peace & Joy) for the year 2000. Continue to pray for Thomas Eng & family, Rose (Mrs Yeoh’s friend) and Mrs Ann Wong who have expressed their desire to worship God on Sunday mornings will be encouraged and determined to come and join us. Pray also for 3 ladies, Teh Mei Mei, Koh Siok Fun & Yong Sok Fun who are contemplating of joining us for the worship. The 3 ladies have joined us since mid April and the two are already serving in the Young People meetings!
11. OA Ministry: Pray that some of our members can serve in the Sunday School at the Temerloh Gospel Hall to relief their workers for the OA ministry. Pray also for Vela & Voong Pang who are spearheading the work there.

UPDATES:

Please pray for the following persons among our congregation & their loved ones diagnosed with cancer

1. William Leong - Cancer of the neck he will be seeking treatment in Gleneagles Hospital next week. Pray also for Mrs Leong and their daughter Grace.

2. Cheah Chee San - husband of our sister Carol. He has gone to Singapore Mt Elizabeth Hosp for treatment of his intestine cancer. It has spread to his liver. Do remember the whole family including the teenagers, Wen Eu & Lyn Ee who are down in Singapore with him.

3. Anne Wong - she is also undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
