Sunday Worship Meeting: Theme : God My Shepherd (Psalm 23 : 1-3)                      FOR PRIVATE CIRCULATION

1.       WMGC English Class - about 25-30 children attending the junior classes & about 15-20 attending the youth classes; pray for more teachers to take part in this ministry. WMGC Sunday School - 10 children attending the Chinese SS and 8 children attending the English SS; pray for the new teachers Chui Yain & Sue Yue.

2.       Yip Kam Hong and Jen Peng attending YWAM course in Auckland, NZ for 6 months from July 2002 to Jan 2003; pray for God's future direction after the course.

3.       Unsaved souls - 12 to be followed-up in outreach activities as follows; Betty Choo, Goo Sew Yong, Hiew Kei Keat &

      Siew Yoke Lan, Dineish a/l Arumugam, Harven a/l Arumugam, Khoo Sue Ann, Tan Ee Vern, Lim Poh Lee, Alicia Kok Jit Leng, Shim Hui Peng, Debbie Chan. 5.       Remember Gregory who has exams this month and Siaw May for her second year finals between 8 to 12 April.

6.        Pray for Tey Meng Tah (>20 head stitches) to recover from his recent accident along the expressway.

7.       Har VP : O Give thanks to the Lord for He is good! For His steadfast love endures forever! THANKSGIVING ..... We had an exciting report from our accountant. The outstanding amount for the whole base's outreach fees AUD$97,000 as of Wednesday (the dateline March 27th) afternoon. Everybody prayed hard and worshipped God ... and then the next morning ... the amount is down to about AUD$10,000! Praise the Lord! Well folks, we are making it. This is another milestone in the history of the base as the biggest amount of money that we have to fight in order to see everybody to go on outreach. Praise the Lord for His work in and through everyone of us! To God be the glory! Thanks you very much for your earnest prayers and sacrificial givings. God will definitely bless each of you in a special way as you are obedient to Him and serve Him.

8.        Wednesday, April 3, 2002 : Religion Today reports Islamic Law Threatens Stability of Nigeria. "The enforcement of extreme 'sharia' Islam law violates all human rights, especially religious freedom, and destabilizes this already fragile country," advised Dr. Paul Marshall, in a major report released by Freedom House's Center for Religious Freedom. "If left unchecked, sharia's further spread...could transform Nigeria...into a center of radical Islamism...with lawlessness and terror, like Afghanistan under the Taliban." In the report, Marshall said the "effect on human rights" is even more "profound and far wider" than the harsh, inhumane, physically disabling punishments, and he listed four new rules that not only undermine such rights, but violate Nigeria's constitution. Having only just begun on the road to democracy, Nigeria is struggling, and reports are that the growth of Islamic extremism is being supported by foreign radical Islamic regimes such as Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
